Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottles

I have tried many other brands of water bottles. I love these two brands because they stand up to getting cleaned in dishwasher. Some other brands’ paint chipped off after several washings in dishwasher.

  • Klean Kanteen ❤️ was my first love. I have been using some of my water bottles and insulated containers for over 20 years. I prefer the insulated versions. Many have dents, but all are completely functional after all of this time. I love well made products!

  • Whole House Filtering System ❤️ I have the SpringWell whole house filtering system with salt-free softener system. I have noticed a huge difference in the elimination of calcification around faucets, showers, dishwasher, etc. I am also using less soap, shampoo and detergent. Definitely a win-win.

Water Distillers for CPAP, nasal rinse, etc.

Instead of purchasing distilled water in plastic jugs, we bought a water distiller to make our own.

I have tried several brands of electric tea kettles. Breville is my favorite because it has different heating temperatures to choose from and their customer service is 5-star!

Stainless Steel Tumblers

Note: Single-wall cups can “sweat” and can only hold cold liquids. Double-wall can hold hot and cold liquids and do not sweat. These removable silicone bands help keep cups unique.

Important note about stainless steel: When looking for stainless steel cups, food containers and straws, look for products labeled 18/8 or 18/10 (also known as 304) for a safer, higher quality, non-corrosive product.

It has helped the pain and inflammation in my arthritic fingers. I don’t take NSAIDs anymore. I also take one softgel of CBN at night, which seems to help me stay asleep.

For the first time in my 50+ years of owning cats I have an indoor only cat. She is a joy. When I first adopted her I didn’t know how to  meet her “cat-instinct” needs. I found the book, Decoding Your Cat and learned so much about cat instincts. The items listed below have made for a very happy cat and cat owner!

 

Food Tunnel — this allows her to “hunt” for her dry food instead of passively eating dry food.

Digger Slow Feeder — I bought this after she had been using the Food Tunnel. It was too easy for her. This can be a good one to begin with your cat.

Self-grooming Brush — I have several of these around the house. She became so much more affectionate and friendly after using these. I have no idea why, but I added more once I realized that was happening.

Cat Amazing Interactive Enrichment Toy — If you want entertainment, get this. I put treats inside the chambers and she has to prey and hunt to get them out.

Cat Amazing Mega Puzzle Box — After several years of the box listed above, I moved to this 3-story version. SO FUN to watch her work this!

Scratching Posts — so important for indoor cats! I have many different types. My cat will be 7 in August of 2024. Most of these scratching posts have been around for at least five years without replacing. Earlier versions I tried didn’t last long. Here are some of my favorites:
